That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.

The Only Toxic We Appreciate Is the Song

We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.

Measured, Not Marketing

We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.

"The low-rise reunion tour is real, and I am here for it! As someone who is super petite at 5’2”, finding low-rise, floor-length wide-leg jeans that actually work can be a challenge, but these hit the mark. The front rise is just right—giving that authentic low-waist look without feeling awkward. What I really love is the length; they truly give you that full, puddle-hem wide-leg silhouette. For my 5’2” frame, they look incredible styled with platform boots or high heels to elevate the look (and give me some extra height!), but they also look great stacked over chunky sneakers. The zipper fly and structured wide leg make these feel super grown-up and chic rather than a mid-2000s costume. If you’re petite and hesitant about trying the low-rise wide-leg trend, grab these—they’re dynamic, stylish, and so easy to dress up or down! Great All-around Jeans

"These jeans are substantial and comfortable at the same time. Can be dressed up or down. A little boxy (especially if you’re petite like me), but a blouse tuck in front helps. I had to hem them. I’m 5’2, 117 lbs, and size 26 was perfect. I’m 5 pounds up after surgery, but these will still be fine after I get down to my regular weight. I consulted with an Everlane rep before buying and she was very helpful on sizing."

I hope they're durable.

"I wish Everlane sanforized denim before sewing. Instead they tell customers to beware that dye may bleed and to hand wash and line dry. This is denim. It's supposed to be rugged and reliable. I ordered several pair to find one pair that wasn't rippled in the inner thigh, right out of the package. I haven't worn them yet, and I worry that these jeans won't look good. I wish these were actually low rise (8-9"). To keep them from looking boxy, I chose the biggest size that stays up without a belt and I will wear them with a somewhat dropped crotch. The drape and dark indigo wash are gorgeous. I hope they're durable."
